I’ve always loved moving.
I have a background as a professional dancer and choreographer. I studied martial arts and many other physical practices. But the Feldenkrais Method was the approach that was the most curious to me:
•It improved both my dancing and all my other (athletic) hobbies
•It relieved me of my long and short term injuries, which included things like the everyday pain I had when sitting at a desk for long lengths of time
•I began to directly experience the intimately connected relationship between my thinking (mind), doing (body) and feelings. This was quite an eye opener.
•I began to realise how important self awareness is!
