A 2.5hr workshop focusing on the dynamics, restrictions, tips and tricks for backbends. The workshop is intended for all levels. So whether you are just starting out or have been practicing for years this workshop is for you.
We will start the morning off with a session talking about the benefits of backbends, how to work with injuries and the different variations. After a short break we will start a flowing yoga class working on opening up and strengthening the muscles needed to find your own maximum backbend and work through a number of different postures. Taking special care to understand how to enter and exit poses safely and how to use props to assist you.
We will end the workshop with an extended Savasana to give the body the time and space to recover from working on these challenging poses.
