Can Acupuncture Help You?

By West Norwood Therapies Team, Mar 2 2016 10:00AM

Our acupuncturist Philippa Summers is offering a 20min consulatation for £10 over acupuncture awareness week. Read on to see if you might be able to benefit.

As part of Acupuncture Awareness Week (7th – 13th March) I am offering 20 minute consultations for £10 where you can come and see our lovely room, discuss your health issues, ask questions and find out how acupuncture may be able to help you.

Acupuncture therapy is widely accepted as a very safe and effective solution for a range of illnesses and symptoms. This year’s Acupuncture Awareness Week is focusing on sports related injuries, but acupuncture can treat so much more. I have a special interest in treating a broad range of women’s health issues from puberty onwards, including pregnancy and fertility support.

In relation to sport, almost three in ten people in the UK exercise more now than they did ten years ago, more than half have been injured during sport in the past, with one in three never recovering from their injuries. Click here to listen to gold medal winning Olympian, Rebecca Adlington, talking about how acupuncture has helped her manage an ongoing shoulder injury.

Many people are put off by the thought of needles but, unlike injections, the needles used are barely the width of a human hair and the sensation is more of a dull ache than a needle sensation. To book your 20 minute session, where I can also let you experience for yourself what it feels like, please call me on 07941 674792 or you can book online here

Philippa is at West Norwood Therapies on Tuesday and Friday mornings
