Festive Winter Warmer at West Norwood Therapies

Our acupuncturist Philippa Summers recounts our lovely open day last weekend
On the same day as Feast last weekend we held our Festive Winter Warmer Open Day. It was an informal opportunity to come and chat and to see our cosy little haven, warm up with a cup of Yinka and Tessa’s delicious hot mulled apple juice and scrumtious ginger cake and meet the team.
As always there were balloons for the children and a special children’s welcome from Bethany and Desta. We had a range of gifts for sale including gift vouchers, Frankincense and spiced Epsom salts and gorgeous natural skin care products hand- made with care by Veronica and Jennie.
Some of you already know us well, others sought us out and quite a few people stumbled upon us by chance, as we tussled with balloons in the wind at the gate. A big thank you from all of us, to everyone who dropped in. It was great to see so many people.
If you haven’t visited us yet, our location is slightly unconventional. We have a warm spacious treatment room within Access Storage (yes…that’s right IN the Access Storage site but definitely not in a storage unit!). We are tucked away in a quiet corner away from the bustle of the high street. If you know where we are and have enjoyed our treatments then please do let your friends and family know we are here.
Still looking for a present? Our gift vouchers are a real treat and can be bought online from our websit. They can be exchanged for any of our one hour or 90minute treatments, which include relaxing therapeutic massages, luxurious facials, osteopathy or acupuncture.
We are open by appointment only, so if you’d like to drop by just call in advance. Or look out for us on
Feast Sundays and at the Tulse Hill market on Thursday evenings. We look forward to meeting you and treating you!
Philippa Summers offers acupuncture and tuina massage at West Norwood Therapies on Tuesdays and Fridays.
