The Mat Foundations Course was created by Matthew to equip people with a deeper understanding of the Pilates method. Acting as an enrolment to his regular group classes, the 6 week course introduces 16 foundational Pilates exercises and basic anatomy.
Pilates is an excellent form of exercise during all stages of pregnancy. Matthew’s pre-natal classes give you a space to recuperate whilst preparing for the challenges of the birth, whilst the subsequent post-natal classes support your recovery as you transition back in to your regular pre-pregnancy activities.
For those who have completed Matthew’s Mat Foundations Course, group mat classes gradually explore more complex and varied Pilates repertoire. The classes are challenging and maintain a strong focus on each person's development through maintaining small class sizes.
