We have two traditional Chinese medicine acupuncturists, Philippa and Mike (Mihaly) who you would see for full acupuncture treatments and one sports massage therapist who uses needling as part of her massage treatments, Tessa.
Philippa works with a broad range of physical and emotional issues and has a particular interest in women's health and sometimes uses some tui na massage.
Mike incorporates other Chinese medicine techniques like cupping, guasha and moxa into his treatments and uses a lot of tui na massage too.
Both Philippa and Mike do a longer session for your initial treatment to allow for an in depth consultation. With Philippa this is a 45min zoom or phone consultation ahead of your treatment, with Mike it is a 30min in-person consultation, so your first session would be 90mins rather than an hour.
Tessa's style of acupuncture is known as 'medical acupuncture' or 'dry needling' and works as part of her massage treatments on musculoskeletal aspects only.
