We are looking forward to being fully open again, hopefully from 12th April if all goes to plan and look forward to seeing you again. (NB acupuncture available on high-need basis from 8th March)
We have reviewed the measures we had already put in places and will keep are monitoring and reviewing these as we work.
The measures we have in place are:
Preparation of treatment space:
- There will be a 15minute gap between clients to clean and ventilate the treatment space
- We have minimised what is in the room to make it easy to clean thoroughly and have minimised fabrics to ensure things can be disinfected
- We have a HEPA fan and HEPA filtered hoover to clear the air as much as possible
- We will be steam cleaning the carpet each week as part of a professional weekly clean (as well as Hepa filtered hoover used daily)
- We have provided plastic container for your clothes that can be cleaned between clients and specific areas for you to put things like glasses
- Practitioners will wear face masks or visors during treatments and will ask you to wear one for supine work or face to face interactions
- Some practitioners may use plastic aprons
- We may ask to take your temperature using a contactless thermometer
- We have removed the massage table cover and electric blanket – sorry! We know a lot of you loved this – and will be using couch roll and a face support then the vinyl can be washed down thoroughly between clients
- Longer consultations will be done via zoom / video call to minimise face to face contact and allow for mask-free conversation
- We will not be accepting cash payments – your therapist will confirm whether they take card payments or only bank transfers
- We will not be providing water in glasses so ask you please to bring your own water bottle to your treatment and also a pen for completing a form and / or signing a waiver
- We will not be selling products or vouchers in gift boxes, but pdf vouchers will still be available to buy online
- Your practitioner will ask you to sign a liability waiver / consent to treatment / consent to track and trace
- Please arrive no more than 5 mins early for your appointment to allow space for cleaning and avoid crossing over with other clients
- Please wash your hands thoroughly on arrival (loos straight ahead as you come in the door)
- Please cooperate with wearing a face mask for supine / face to face work as requested by your therapist
- Please bring your own water, pen and face mask
- Please under no circumstances attend your appointment if you feel at all unwell – we are waiving the 24hr cancellation policy but still ask for as much notice as possible to allow us to adjust
