Jennie founded West Norwood Therapies and now manages it remotely from her home in rural Scotland.
Jennie used to live in West Norwood and loved being a massage therapist there. Her massages are a combination of aromatherapy and sports massage and she enjoyed sharing the benefits of deep, therapeutic massage with a strong focus on relaxation. She misses working with her lovely clients.
She worked at the Access Self Storage premises for a year alone before starting WNT with the aim of getting some colleagues! She had a vision of bringing together a strong network of excellent practitioners who shared a desire to collaborate and pool skills to support the local community. She is thrilled that this came to fruition and the team is still going strong.
She had a baby in 2016 and made the decision to move with her family back to her Motherland and bought a fixer-upper smallholding in Ayrshire on the west coast of Scotland. She now spends a lot of time growing vegetables and sanding down shutters. She is hoping to start massaging Scottish people at some point and has planning permission for 2 yurts to start a hospitality business, with hopes of evolving towards some sort of retreat.
Jennie keeps in touch with the team with regular meetings and calls and is still heavily involved in blog writing, promotion and coordinating the team. She is very glad that the move to running things remotely has worked so well and feels very in touch with West Norwood despite being 400miles away.
